Our Mission

At Catholic Marriage Mentoring, we believe that marriage is a sacrament, a holy vocation that reflects the love of Christ for His Church. Our mission is to help couples build strong, Christ-centred marriages by offering guidance grounded in Catholic doctrine, prayer, and the wisdom of the Church. We aim to nurture and strengthen relationships, ensuring that couples can face both the joys and challenges of marriage with faith and trust in God’s plan.

Who We Serve

We serve three key groups:

• Intending Couples: Those preparing for marriage can find resources on how to build a spiritual foundation, communicate effectively, and prepare for a holy, lifelong commitment.
• Married Couples: Whether newly married or experienced, couples can turn to us for advice on deepening their relationship, resolving conflicts, and keeping Christ at the centre of their marriage.
• Singles Discerners: For those still discerning whether they are called to the vocation of marriage, we offer spiritual guidance to help them reflect on their calling in light of Catholic teaching.

Our Approach

Our mentoring is rooted in the timeless teachings of the Catholic Church. We focus on key aspects such as:

• Faith and Prayer: Encouraging couples to keep God at the heart of their relationship.
• Communication and Forgiveness: Teaching the importance of open, honest communication and the role of forgiveness in maintaining a healthy marriage.
• Catholic Sacraments: Emphasising the grace of the sacraments, particularly the Eucharist and Reconciliation, in sustaining a thriving marriage.
• Practical Guidance: Offering tools and advice for daily married life, from raising children in the faith to handling financial matters.

Our Leadership

Catholic Marriage Mentoring is led by Rev. Fr. Dr. Michael Chime, a Roman Catholic priest with many years of experience in pastoral care and marriage preparation. With a deep understanding of the Church’s teachings on marriage, Rev. Fr. Chime brings compassion, wisdom, and faith to every aspect of our ministry. His goal is to help couples see marriage as a path to holiness and a reflection of God’s love.
